Lucknow: In a major breakthrough, the Vikas Nagar police in Lucknow have arrested a woman accused of defrauding over 100 people using forged documents. The accused, who had a bounty of ₹25,000 on her head, was involved in setting up a fake company to deceive unsuspecting victims.
The woman allegedly used black money to amass multiple properties, making it difficult for law enforcement to track her down. Her fraudulent activities were not confined to Lucknow alone, as police records indicate that cases have been registered against her in multiple districts across Uttar Pradesh and even in other states.
Following her arrest, the police have now intensified their search for her family members and other accomplices involved in the scam. Authorities have urged victims to come forward with any information that could assist in further investigations.
This arrest marks a significant achievement for Vikas Nagar police in cracking down on large-scale financial frauds and bringing culprits to justice.
